This picture was taken in August of 2008 about 10 minutes before Wayne and I drove away from Sewanee, leaving Catherine there for her first semester of college. There's no picture of us before we drove away today, leaving Catherine there for another 8 weeks before she graduates. Wait...what?? Graduates? It just does not seem possible that it's been 4 years already. And, yet, when I look at her and listen to her, I know that it has. I see the maturation and the experiences working their magic. She's still my cuddly, snuggly, funny, sports-loving, bookwork, little song bird, but she's also so much more. My little one has grown to be an amazing young woman with so much to offer this world. I can't wait to see what God has planned for the upcoming years!
