On Tuesdays and Thursdays after my insanely early start to the day and my great workout at the gym, I have been going to Subway to eat breakfast. It gives me a chance to read and journal and to enjoy a little down time. This morning a man and his young son (probably 8 or 9 years old) came in, ordered their breakfast, and sat down at a table near me. There was nothing special about either of them and there didn't seem to be a special occasion - just a dad and his boy having breakfast out before going to school and work. They seemed happy just to be together, talking and laughing. It was a beautiful sight and made my day brighter just to watch them.
I just wonder what time you have to be at school - seems like you live a full day before you get to work!
ReplyDeleteI have to be there at 9:00. I usually get there between 8 and 8:30. I don't get off until 4:30. :( I would prefer an earlier start and an earlier end!
