Catherine's two comforts were her thumb (usually with her forefinger hooked over her nose) and her "lovey" (she called it her "wuhwee"). "Lovey" was a cloth diaper. I bought packages of them and kept them on hand just for her to carry around with her. The nice thing was that when one got dirty or lost, it could be replaced quickly and easily. However, Catherine liked them best when they got a little frayed on the ends.
In this picture it was early in the morning and we were on our way out the door for the day. As Catherine would say when she got a bit older "Catherine goes to Y school and Mommy goes to Eagle school".
