A song that is often played on the radio currently includes these lines:
"If you gotta start somewhere, why not here?
If you gotta start sometime, why not now?
If you gotta start somewhere, I say here...
If you gotta start sometime, I say now."
Is it really that simple? Can I just decide to start being the person God made me to be - right here, right now? Wait, don't I have to be perfect first? Make sure I haven't made any big mistakes in my life that make me unworthy? No, I don't. Perfection isn't necessary (or even possible) in order to have a relationship with God and Jesus. What's necessary is a desire for the relationship and a willingness to do what He says.
Why not here? Why not now?
